Image: 874 - 2014 12 02 Contrasting Fabrics On Five Piece Suite 005
Mix and match fabric choices contrast and co-ordinate on this suite. Three different fabrics were used to achieve this customer's desired effect, two subtle self coloured designs highlight a bold, abstract pattern in rich colours. This suite comprising one two and a half seater sofa, one two seater sofa, two armchairs and a footstool, was destined for a quietly decorated room. The sofas blend very well with their surroundings while the armchairs and footstool add a splash of colour that really works well with subtly shaded walls and carpets. The fabrics even came from different manufacturers, "Romo", "Villa Nova" and "Jim Dickins", which goes to show that fabrics can complement each other even when chosen from different ranges. All the fabrics chosen are best quality, flame retardant material, all very durable and easy to clean We replaced existing seat cushion interiors with best quality flame retardant "Reflex" interiors, which carry a ten-year guarantee. They were also wrapped in a secondary casing, comprising Dacron and stockinette, to prolong cushion life. We also replaced existing feather back cushion interiors with best quality flame retardant "Fibre-fill" interiors, which give the appearance and feel of feathers without the maintenance of constant plumping up! The combination of "Reflex" and "Fibre-fill" interiors ensures maximum comfort, quality and durability. All five pieces were stripped to the frame and all interiors (i.e. arms, backs and seats) replaced with best quality flame retardant interiors to ensure they are all completely restored to "as new". Lastly, all pieces were finished with a hand-stitched flat skirt and six scatter cushions were made to complete the look! Our clients said they were very impressed, it was all very comfortable and they would recommend us to everyone.
