07/10/2016: “Cooper’s” Three Piece Suite in Three Complimentary “Warwick” fabrics

This week a "Coopers" three piece suite experienced the full treatment, a re-upholstered three seater sofa and two, two seater sofas, in three complementary flame retardent "Warwick" fabrics.

The main bodies of all three sofas were re-upholstered in a plain chenille fabric, and the cushions on the three seater sofa and one of the two seaters have been re-upholstered in a floral chenille from the same range. Meticulous attention to detail was required to ensure first class pattern matching with both the stripe and floral fabrics. All sofas have also been finished with a rolled edge.

It is important to keep this furniture just as it was the day it was made. To do this, all three sofas were stripped back to the frames and had the interiors replaced with flame retardant materials. All sofas were finished with a rolled edge to finish the job.

As per usual, the existing seat and back cushion interior fabrics have been replaced with top of the range flame retardant interiors. The seat cushion interiors were replaced with "Reflex" interiors wrapped in a secondary casing made of Dacron and stockinette to prolong cushion life, and the back cushions with a "Fibre-Fill" interior. This creates a comfortable and durable combination.

A brand new lift-top footstool was also made to compliment the sofas. Made out of a Beechwood frame and upholstered with the plain chenille on the base and the striped chenille on the top, this really completed the three-piece suite.

Lastly, six scatter cushions were made which tied all the pieces together and they look simply stunning!

Our clients were delighted and loved their “new” furniture, particularly the fabric colour and combinations of plain, stripe and floral. They were kind enough to say they will recommend us and we look forward to reading their feedback on our Which? Trusted Traders page in due course.
